  1. I'm trying to make a "widescreen" version (16:9) SVCD (you know, with the black bars on top and bottom. Like on the Star Wars trailers).

Anyone know how I can do this? I'm using ATI AIW Radeon, TMPEG, Ulead DVD Moviefactory.

I've tried taking a 480 X 480 clip and putting it through TMPEG's 16:9 process, but Ulead DVD MovieFactory won't accept the file (and yes, I've multi/remultiplexed it before the 16:9 process).

    Thanks for the help!

  2. I'm not sure about your compatibility problem, but to make a widescreen 16:9, use center custom size under the video arrange method. Leave the width, but for your length, change to the apporopriate size to maintain the same ratio as the original. WHen played back, your tv should stretch it horizontally, but not vertically.
