  1. Hi everyone,

I haven't shopped for routers lately; but does anyone make a hardware firewall wi-fi router (preferably super-G or at least G) that has a built-in print server? The only brand of router I know that actually has a hardware firewall is Netgear; but I'm hoping to find a different brand if possible (had two Netgear routers failed on me already). Does anyone have possible suggestions?

    Thanks in advance,

    Spiffy

  3. That is what I read about Linksys routers. But I don't believe they have any models with built-in print servers though.

With the Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router with SpeedBooster at the center of your home or office network, you can share a high-speed Internet connection, files, printers, and multi-player games with the flexibility, speed, and security you need!

I don't think that model actually has a built in print server. It will just connect you to networked printers.

Here's an SMC model with a USB print server built in.

A Belkin model with built-in USB print server.

Here's a D-Link that does USB AND parallel.

You might be better off getting the router you want and an inexpensive print server.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.
