    Does anybody know where I can download the DV codec for older Sony camcorders? I need the codec to use with Virtualdub for some AVI files I captured off the camcorder. Thanks.

    I believe all you need for virtualDub is the panasonic codec, which should be in the codec areas of the tools section. DV is DV, the difference is how the codec interacts with Windows to display it.
