With the goal of producing an SVCD, I've set MMC to the following: 480x480, MPEG-2, VBR, 2.5Mbs, Stereo (both 44Khz & 22Khz). Video recorded from any source (even the blue screen when the VCR is not playing) with these settings results in a clicking noise that comes from both L & R (seems to move around a bit, also).
TMPGEnc can't read the .mp2 file, even if I rename it to .mpg or do the open&stop trick discussed elswhere in this forum.
Anyone have a clue as to what this is or how to fix it? Thanks in advance.
