  1. Ok....I have a movie that has four parts and when I use SVCD2DVD everything should merge together as long as I put them into one VTS. On my Sony DVD player at the end of each part it freezes and then I have to push next to go to the next part. On my Norcent DVD player it plays right through. I have looked at all the settings on my sony dvd...I cant figure out why it doesnt play this movie as one file. Anyone have this problem?

  2. I also have a Sony and I get the same thing with a few conversions. It will pause at the merge and you have to advance it manually...but same dvd will play fine on my other player witch is an Apex. I believe this was mentioned before..but never found out what the reason was for why it only happened on a Sony player. Maybe next release of SVCD2DVD will fix that?

I have a Sony NS330 and it sometimes pauses between files. Interestingly it doesn't do it with all sources.. just some.

On another thread Chrissyboy said that he might be able to look at "tidying" the mpeg stream at the end of each file. Hopefully this fix might find it's way into the next release.

I will need some help resolving this. What, ideally, i need is an example of this happening and not happening. So any Sony users with uber bandwidth willing to send me some examples - i need to hear from you.

  9. Hi

A tad behind y`all , but I am experiencing this glitch
as well between merged assets , tho not quite as bad as others explained
I dont have to move ahead manually , but it is a sloppy move between the assets/merged files .

I`ve also experienced a few minutes missing between assets/merged files as well , in exact same files , ripped once with missing time , ripped another time with no missing time . Both on pc or dvd player , I also experience
lots of video motion jerkiness , when played back on pc or dvd player

So far I`ve found these the weakest points of an otherwise fine program

DvD players are Phillips & citizen
