    Is there any possibilities to upgrade PIONEER DV-464 (or similar) firmware to DivX (MPEG-4) support?

    If a DVD player doesn't support Divx out of the box, it is extremley unlikley that a firmware upgrade could enable it.

    The hardware requirements for mpeg-2 decoding and Divx decoding are quite different.

    Even if it were possible, is it going to happen, I don't think so.
