www.nomorecoasters.com has a list. The site is run by LordSmurf.

Stores I've used
www.meritline.com - decent prices, sometimes slow shipping. Some hate, some love this store. Great selection. Usually same day shipping. Customer service has always been helpfull for me.
www.supermediastore.com - cheap prices, slow ground shipping to the east coast (6-8 days), a few packages weren't packed that good, but no damage occured.
www.cddimensions.com - Ok prices, on the east cost, so fast shipping to that part. Smaller selection of the "good stuff"
www.mediasupply.com - Ok prices, East Cost, only the "good stuff". Friendly and smart staff. Very well packed shipments.
www.shop4tech.com - only a few orders here. Same boat as supermedia store, slow shipping to the east coast, and 2nd/3rd day air is over priced.
www.cdroutlet.com - selection isn't that great, but prices are ok. Fast ground shipping for the east coast. Well packed.
www.newegg.com - good prices, smaller selection, OK packing. Shipping is always slow as hell for me. Even from the east coast warehouse takes them 4 days to get to me, 5 days from west coast warehouse, never same day shipping unless I check and pay extra for same day shipping.
www.rima.com - decent selection, great prices, fast/cheap shipping, well packaged very well, always same day shipping (if ordered in time), quick responce to emails. <- My main supplier.
Other shops -

www.qtccdr.com
www.hypermicro.com -
Some others I've used to purchase 1st class media (as stated by LordSmurf www.nomorecoasters.com):
www.shopperwiz.com - Good prices on retail, factory packaged spindle media (Maxell, Verbatim, Fuji, TDK). Warning, if you next day or ship to an address other than billing address, they'll ask for DNA samples. They tend to carry all available media options (manufacturer part numbers). I buy my Maxell white matte printables from them (part# 653129), about $65 bucks shipped for a factory-sealed, 50ct spindle.
www.pagecomputers.com - Another good retail (non-repackaged) online seller for 1st class media.
www.buy.com - not bad for Verbs, Maxell, etc. Shipping for bulk media is usually free.
Already mentioned:
www.rima.com - I buy Taiyo Yudens from them....good seller.
www.newegg.com - Great online seller for everything...decent pricing for Maxell (silver printables, yellow top branded). Shipping is excellent, usually arrives in 2-3 days.
You can buy lower quality media at a much cheaper price....I like the confidence that 1st class media gives....it's a lot like purchasing CD-R's, they just work. -
I have had good experiences with www.newegg.com as well. They shipped from their New Jersey facility very promptly and I got it in New York via Fedex free ground two days later. Their website has close-up pictures of exactly what your are getting and good descriptions. Received exactly what I ordered and the Optodisc DVD-Rs (lordsmurf approved) worked great.
I currently have an order out from www.allmediaoutlet.com for some DVD-RWs and so far I got the "shipped from California and takes forever blues". Personally I think Fedex is slower and less consistent than UPS. -
Don't just take our word for it. These two are some of the highest I have seen. Rima and Newegg

Recently
meritline - get stuff two days after I order (if early in the week)
supermedia - same (slow shipping on non-hot items)
new egg - get stuff two - seven days after ordering.
haven't tried RIMA yet -
In the uk digital promotions, www.digitalpromo.co.uk are very good. they have a shop in liverpool.
RiDisc x4 £9.95 0r x8 £16.50 for a tub of 25
also datawritev2 red £6 for 25.
plenty of media to choose from as well -
I'm from Israel so non of the above stores accepted my international credit-card although i was shipping to my relatives within the US.
Had to go with Amazon.com although they have very poor selection in this field (but good prices) just got my 50-pack Memorex -R they were ProdiscS03 - first one was a coaster (it had a long trip until it got herebut the rest are fine...
With all due respect... and there is respect... -

Tiger Direct has also been selling a variety of DVD media of late. Right now there are plenty of qty=25 spindles for about US$20
In the US you can check them out here. In Canada check them out here. Most of the brands are all the low end stuff, but for daily use I don't buy the expensive stuff anyway.

RIMA.COM
fast shipping, great customer service, well packed. great prices.
Probably the best online store I've purchased any product from. -
One tip I might pass on is this; I overpayed by $40 and bought more discs than I needed because of a fear that I would not be able to get good Ritek media again for a while. I have seen prices drop every week, especially on -R.
I would not buy more than you need short term as there is no telling how low they will go with the higher speeds and capacities coming.Still a few bugs in the system... -
No kidding on the -R prices dropping.
Ordered a 100ct of 4x DVD-R whitetop inkjet printables by Ridata for 98.00. Used them all up, went to order again a month later and they are now 78.00 for the same discs. I like this trend.my t.v. is wide and so am I. -
well... still no luck with getting online stores to accept my international credit card... www.nexus22.com wanted alot of money for delivery and meritline.com do not accpet international credit cards for domestic orders... any1 got any ideas?

I live in the central USA, I get everything I order from newegg.com in just 3 days normally no matter which location they shipped from. Been buying computer parts from them for years now! Never a compliant from me, but I have never bought any disks from newegg yet. I have had to RMA 2 parts that went bad, not thier fault, and the service and rma process was simple and smooth. I love newegg for PC parts, may try disk from them sometime.
As for Rima.com, I like them for disks and cases. Prices were good, Shipping was ok, packed well, arrived safe, they shipped quick, packages take about 5 days to get to me compared to 3 days from newegg. No big deal.
Shop4tech.com I got my stuff a bit faster, but watch out for free shipping! It makes the prices sound better but if your ordering much you'll get lower total price buying from rima.com and paying extra for the shipping!
I had no problems at shop4tech, I bought cases and cheap 1x disks at the time on a couple orders from them.
I shop around, but I preffer rima.com at this time, last I looked. -
I love supermediastore.com
good prices, Great selection, Packing is fine, After two seperate purchases, I couldnt be happier with Supermediastore ... I purchased two differnt types of their cheapest, generic DVD blank discs, and every one has burned perfectly ... and prices that were outstanding ... fast shipping, too ... definitely recommend them for great recordable media ... I know it's an old thread but thought I'd share some additional info on some of the vendors mentioned above.
Meritline and Supermediastore are one and the same. There is at least 1 other name they go by as well. They have a terrible record with the Better Business Bureau, namely for not answering complaints and substituting items with the customer's permission. FYI, they have also been caught selling counterfeited discs at least twice. The first time it was counterfeit Maxell, the 2nd time it was counterfeit Ritek. All of this info can be verified by hitting the BBB and Google'ing the news stories about them.
Shop4Tech seems to be an unofficial subsidiary of Office Depot. Business records show them as being owned by Office Depot but the Shop4Tech website makes no mention of this. Consumer ratings for this store show that they tend to ship open-box items as new.
Rima is decent though it takes about 10 days to receive items on the east coast if you choose ground shipping. Also, I have received a number of damaged discs (cracked hubs) b/c some idiot in the warehouse put the DVDs *on top* of the packing peanuts instead of in between them. I've also received substituted items without them clearing it with me first. Nonetheless, they have exceptional prices and usually give detailed specs (ie disc version, disc-top color and finish, etc) so I still shop with them occasionally.
NewEgg is great and I get my orders in 2 days now that they opened the NJ warehouse. They gives you virtually no info about their media usually though so if you are particularly seeking something like 'shiny silver-top' don't expect to find the info on the site - CS can't help either as NewEgg is a drop-shipper and CS doesn't have access to the actual products. Their pricing is pretty good on media (great on hardware usually) but not exceptional.420 -
newegg is my current fav.
But i shop around and get good deals from shop4tech sometimes.
Use pricewatch and similar sites. This is a block of text that can be added to posts you make. There is a 255 character limit -
I have only used Supermedia store, great prices, always some kind of sale. Prodisc and Ritek are their main brands, the majority of sale are usually for them.
If you can help it I would keep the order to 200 discs (4 50 packs) whats funny is that i ordered 400, and they came in the same sized box. These are the boxes that come from the manufacturer. The box says on outside says "qty:500 pieces" thats 10 50Packs, I received 8 50 packs in one order, and 4 packs in the same box.
I am a little disturbed by the post 420 makes but I am not suprised.
One complaint I have is that I think they need better phone based customer support -

If you can figure out how to look up business registration info, you can verify this on your own. Here are the details ...
Meritline
aka Supermediastore
aka http://www.dvd-rwmedia.com
aka LinkYo Corp
aka CompTree Inc.
I think Allmediaoutlet is them also but I won't swear to that.
If you don't know anything about business registrations (and obviosuly you don't), simply match up the phone numbers or addresses or a detailed whois. They are all linked by one or the other.420 -
hey Im all for small business corporate domination if it is going to get me the lowest price possible.
I do think this company needs better customer service reps and just more effort into their site and its interface.
they also need to have free return shipping, I got ritek g05 and they are not burning at 8x, its funny nero says 8x but it takes 15 mins.
and with so many businesses and so many sales they should have more locations to ship from, and better packing practices I got the same size box one with 4 50packs and the other box had 8. yeah, again they need to put more effort to REALLY be #1
here is a email they sent me after I wrote them with questions about linkyo:
Actually the manufacturer info for the Grade A DVD Media is private info that I cannot disclose. But our parent Co. is Linkyo Corp.

I suppose this is the CEO, its funny they have 2 house brands, and i think its crap they wont tell me the manufacturer of their generic, the discs dont have media codes, well hey at least thats better than faking them!
so what is these conspiracies? you got any links mr smurf ?
