I've been getting this a lot recently. At first I thought it was my media, but if I reboot, the same disc that gave me the error burns fine.

    Any ideas gang?

Power calibration is pretty much internal to the burner. Most common cause is bad media, followed by dirt on the laser lens or failing drive mechanism. If it's not your media, I would try cleaning the laser lens.
