Just putting the finishing touches to a DVD I've compiled, and I've noticed something that's a bit annoying.
On my main menu there are only 3 links/buttons - 2 are visible, and the third is an "easter egg" that is only visible when selected. Out of the 3 sub menus, when returning to the main menu from 2 of them the invisible button is selected/highlighted.It's not a major problem, but I would like the hidden button to actually stay hidden until the user finds it themselves (not too difficult I admit with only 2 buttons, but anyway...).
Is there a way to manually select which button is active when returning from a sub-menu? I thought it was always the button set as "first", but obviously this isn't the case.
I'd like to get this sorted and burn a final test RW before finishing the disc.
I've asked at the DVDLab forum too, but I figure more folks would see this here.
    Cheers

Open the menu page within DVD Lab, and click on the PBC (Play Back Control) tab on the properties down the right hand side. You will see an option marked "Force-Select Btn". In the box next to this, enter the number of the button you wish to be highlighted whenever this menu is active. Enter a 0 to return to the last active button instead.
