I really want to go away. I have just got a quote for a trip in January and I really want to book it.
The problem is the fun police does not (well she does, she just does not know it yet)
So should I book it without telling her?

But if I book and pay she can't say no and I will not have to waste my time talking her around.
This way she will get used to the idea naturally. -

She won't becuase now I have become a consultant I only earn when I am working but I earn plenty, she is just a greedy bitch who wants a new Porsche.
I am planning on going 5 nights to Tokyo (Japanese dts dvds here I come) 5 night to Hong Kong, 4 Nights to Kuala Lumpur (Had a stopover there last year and loved it), 6 nights in Singapore and then back to London. -
Nice

I say to hell with her. Book it. If she bitches and doesn't want to go, take one of her hot friends instead.

The quote just came in well under what I was budgeting.
This is very tempting. -

Wish I had your silver tongue.
I just got this one: -
"Don't book anything yet lets talk about it 1st"
So I think that is a Yes but I will have to bleed first. -

I can see loving a woman, I can even see living with a woman, but trusting a woman????? That's not even in the foreseeable future of science

Victory, booking it tomorrow.
Staying at the Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong and KL, the infamous Raffles in Singapore (always wanted to go there), just need to decide on a place in Tokyo. -
Beavereater, can you recommend a good 5 * hotel in Tokyo
-
Stay at the Tokyo Hilton. Might cost some bucks, but it's a nice place. I'm not sure if it's 4 or 5 stars, though.
-
Not really that worried about the stars, I am a bit confused about the quality.
I am seeing good reviews for the Park Hyatt. -
The name rings a bell, but I can't remember if I stayed there. The pictures online don't look familiar, but the hotel just sounds so familar. What do you plan to do while you're in Tokyo?
-
Not sure, obsucre dts dvds sounds good.
Any recommendations -
Sorry...didn't know it was a holiday to JAPAN that you were planning. Personally, I wouldn't go to Tokyo. I would change that to Osaka!! Friendlier, more sites to see, and there's a place called DEN DEN town...which I may have mentioned in a PM before. It is just a stripmall of electronic shops that goes for about 2 Kilometers.
Also, from Osaka you can visit Kobe, Kyoto, Hiroshima and other famous places. Anybody that lives in Tokyo and visits Osaka (Foreigners that is) wishes they could move to Osaka. Plenty of good hotels here too...whats your price range, and how close do you want to be to the electronics!?SmileSmile
-
I dont think I can go close to electronics so that is not a pre-requisit, money is no object. Whats the best?
-
I do not think I can get a flight direct to Osaka, and I hate stopping as I don't like flying (well done arranging a trip with five flights).
I was looking at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Tokyo.
