    Just got 2 today at Walmart for $74 each. Well it plays vcd, dvd. Stop button does not work in vcd, FF and Pause does! I like this player.. burning all my vcd's tonight so i can watch daily. I tried to burn a mpg then play direct off cd (Had never done this before to view in dvd) It gave a menu and said vcd-"movie-name" I clicked play it did but no sound..and was choppy on bottom sooo I think i did it wrong..

    If I were you, I would take these back and get the Apex 500w which is only $14 more and a much better DVD player.

    Well like what is better.. I only use to watch dvd, and vcd's Not really for mp3. Worked real good last night watched some vcd's
