  1. Looking to MAYBE and i stresss MAYBE start using a printer on my white injet prodiscs..but i see the silvers are always cheaper...i've had no luck with silver topped disks in the past but was willing to try the prodisc silver just because the white tops seem bulletproof...am i gonna regret saving a few bucks or both discs equal in reliability and compatibility?

  2. Is your question concerning printing or burning?
Still a few bugs in the system...

  3. Hard to say really since it seems like pot luck what media codes you get for disks now adays. That's what seems to matter, not brand name but who made the disks. And the manufactor can vary with the same Brands for the same disks at the same speeds. A 4X disk this week may not be the same 4X disk next week (or even tommorow) even when you order the same things.

I'd say if you get the same media codes for White and Silver then they should be the same quality.

Disks are getting pretty cheap now, as for White or Silver I'd buy what will look best for what you plan to print. I like both though I have only used the silver for cds so far. Silver can give a nice hologram type effect for fancy stuff but can also make text hard to read, like song titles.
White is better generally for normal DVD type labels.

    Tommyp1972,

In the future, please turn off the caps lock for topic titles too. "Shouting" all the time is annoying. Thanks
