  1. ok i FINALLY downloaded this video i wanted but when i open it..
    i can see the video but theres no sound!
    i tried getting all the (known) codecs (divx, xvid. ac3, and fddshow) but they dont seem to work
    i used gspot to see which codecs i needed but it said n/a
    i really need help.. i cant even open it on tmpgenc =/
    thanx in advance!

    download avicodec and see if that gives you the file info.

    There are not that may audio codecs. (compared to video) If you can identify it, there is usually a conversion. If AVIcodec or Gspot can't ID the audio, it's probably corrupt.

    You should be able to just use the Demultiplex option under File > Tools, in TMPGenc 2.5, unless you perhaps want to convert the audio to another format.
    Then perhaps try VirtualDubMod, and open the video file... Select Streams > Stream List, and Save WAV. Or you could try a Demux within the VDM Stream List box, as well.

    i was missing the codec "Nimo" or something...
