Fantastic Flick.... Can't wait until my kids are older and can watch these classics with me. (I think 3 and 5 are too young for that one)

The final poster in my home cinema room. I have Once upon a time in america, goodfellas and the goonies (does not really go) but it is my favourite film of all time.

I was amazed at how well it stood up - still bloody funny after all these years. The little kid with the mad inventions cracks me up

Yes I noticed that - my mate was under the impression that the Octopus scene had been put back into the film, thank god it wasn't.

It lived on in the Cyndi Lauper music video - which was heavily promoted on MTV at the time the movie was originally released.

They shot so much footage that it would've been 7 hours long had they kept it all, so they just decided to get rid of the story with the octopus.

I got the biggest kick out Anne Ramsey's character (she went on to become famous as Danny DeVito's mother in Throw Momma from the Train).

Never had the response of "Excellent" to my age before ! Just had this image of you sat in a big leather chair with a clipboard slowly ticking off boxes. "Arsenal Fan, tick. Has seen Goonies, tick. Over thirty, tick."

Hmmmm, are we talking the bet I lost whilst out in Prague ? You get the draw and win I get the win only ? I don't have any online payment things anymore as NOCHEX I think has changed and I needed to setup a direct debit or something and couldn't be arsed. Could you make the payment straight into my bank account ?

  27. Bollox, I get the draw and frankly if we get the draw you should kill yourself especially considering how well Henry is playing.

You want the win and draw over both games ? Have some faith in your team mate Ok you get both. But I'm not killing myself if you draw. Well not as part of the bet anyway

Goto go now and no internet at home yet so I'll speak to you tomorrow.
