Are there any ways to convert a DVD straight to ONE Avi (No vobs - everything on DVD converted to AVI) that's QUICK? As in a 3 hour DVD ripped to the HD in 30 minutes?

File size isn't an issue AT ALL. I'm am looking for the absolute quickest way to get the DVD onto the hard drive. This is work related and we encode legal dvd's for streaming on the web. So far we've been just capturing them straight from a home dvd player into a capture card which is (of course) real time. We are looking for any possible way to halve (or better) the time involved with this.

If there's a particular codec that needs to be used (even if it costs $$$'s) - any recommendations would be appreciated.
