  1. hi i been trying to figure out how to fix this I/O Error and pretty much failed. i got 2 movies i need to back up and everytime i use dvd decryter i get I/O error at like 50-something % even in I/O buster wont help also dvd shrink gets I/O Errors i know it says check condition and i know one of the movies is a lil scratch so imma get that clean but for teh other one it was brand new just been bought less than a hour ago dvd and it got a I/O Error. only things i use is dvd decryter and dvd shrink since ima newbie to backing up dvd's to dvd+r on my new comp i just got about a month ago. can someone please help me out i would really appreciate this and would make my christmas a whole lot better...thankx and much aloha's

  2. Can you watch the dvd ok on your pc or do you get errors?

  3. when i watch it on my pc everything is fine the pc is all brand new only a month old so pretty muhc i dunno lol but anyway yeh i gotta back these movies up cuz my friend wants um back soon any suggestions? i had one movie that passed decrypter but failed in shrink..

    You might want to read the AUP before writing anything more - Making "backups" of things you don't own, is generally frowned upon...

    If you by "a bit" mean "it's a commercial copyrighted DVD", yes, but
    teh other one it was brand new just been bought less than a hour ago dvd
    made me do that assumption...
