How come I can only record one episode?

Hi:

I have DVD encrypter and I am making a copy of DVD that I made of the series of Sex and the City. There are 8 episodes and they were recorded/archived separately on my Lite On stand alone DVD recorder that is hooked up to Tivo.

I am able to watch the video on my computer via my DVD Rom. I also have all (I think) of it on my hard drive. However, there are different suffixes after some of what is on the drive.

When I made the copy using Roxio media creator, it only recorded one episode. And, even though there is an option on Roxio to copy all files including extras, as well as copy one file, the option to click on the "copy all files" is grayed out and I cannot click on it.

Help. What suffixes should I be looking for and why might this be happening..

I am using a Lite On DVD external writer SOHWsx.

Did you finalize the DVD before you tried to copy it?
