I moved the now flat beer from the primary to the secondary fermenter. Only about 7 days more days to wait!

You are the man Thayne. Home brewing is one of humanity's greatest endeavors. The liquid in that jug reminds me of KVAS which is a semi-alcoholic beverage I make at home out of malt extract and yeast. It is a very popular drink in Russia and tastes like liquid bread. I love it.

It's a little darker than I expected, but there is still a lot of yeast clouding it so we'll see what happens over the next few days
The yeast bed on the bottom of the plastic bucket looked cool! it was about 1/2 inch thick and looked like a pancake looks just before you flip it with all the bubble holes and what not.
I was thinking of getting some apple juice and tossing some brewers yeast in it, is that what cider is?
