  1. quick question, i dled a video and the files in it are vob, ifo and bup and i already burned 1 dvd +r and when i loaded it into my regular dvd player it says NO DISC i tried again with my XBOX and same thing happened it couldnt read the dvd.

the way i made the dvd was using nero 6 and selecting DVD-Video and then just dragged the files from my Video-TS into the empty one so i can burn it. total size of my Video-TS is 4.4gbs. is there something im doing wrong? and how should my preferences be. thanks in advance!

btw i just tried playing a vob file in windows media player and it works. this is wierd, ive looked everywhere cant seem to find whats wrong helpp

You mean DVD+R don't you? You keep referring to "CD." Have you checked that the DLed files aren't in PAL? If so, your computer will play them but your DVDplayers may or may not (The XBOX would have to be modded for it to play PAL).

I assume the DVD plays on your PC. Have you checked to see if your DVD player is compatible with DVD+R?
    Is it Friday yet?

  5. I would also check the type of media you are using.

  6. Doesn't Nero 6 have a checkbox for XBOX compatible burns?

Thought it did. If so, you might want to check that box and see if it helps.

  7. when i did created the DVD with the DVD(UDF/ISO) option one of the options did have the xbox compliant and i checked it off to do so just like one of the guides said but same message came up as not able to read.

the cds im using is IMATION DVD +R(this is the link to it http://www.officemax.com/max/solutions/product/prodBlock.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&expans...kOID=537166558) and i also used a 2.4x dvd by some generic company.both cds didnt play. its my first time burning a dvd but are the dvds you burn either the +R and -R suppose to play in all dvd players?

btw the burner im using is a I/O Magic External burner i borrowed from a friend.
