I've been using the Picture to TV Software program to create some DVD Slide Shows for family and friends.
After I create the DVD's and test them they play fine on my Pioneer players. However, about 40% of the people that try to play the DVD's report problems with the audio. Most say that the audio seems to be very fast and it sounds like The Chipmunks. The video is fine.
I have tried all different brands of DVD Media from +R to -R and get the same probelms. I've been using TY, Ridata and Ritek, Memorex and a host of others.
I use Picture to TV's built in burning and also Nero. Someone mentioned perhaps trying bitsetting? Would that work? Any other suggestions?
Thanks

Fast sounding audio is caused by using LPCM and the playback at the wrong speed, I would reccomend you use mp2 or dolby digital for your audio and NOT wavs/lpcm

Thank you for the post. I just went into the Advance Setting and looks like I have the following checked "Use Linear PCM(LPCM) encoding"
I had no idea what that meant so I always just left it. I'll try and change it to the other option which is "Use Mpeg 1 Layer 2 (mp2) encoding"
Thanks
