  1. I want somebody to explain to be the advantages of a laser printer over an inkjet one. Cause I'm looking for a good printer, and I wanna know if it's worth the extra money to buy a laser one. Thanks

cost of cartidges (because of above)
maintenance issues (clogged print heads, etc)

I'm an HP fan....simply because I HATE gravity feed printers. You can actually call me a BLIND FOLLOWER of HP printers because...I have no bloody idea what kind of printers they are.
What kind of printer IS my HP Deskjet 3810?
    Seriously...I have no idea.

Speed, cost per page, text quality, the "ink" won't run if wet.

Disadvantages: cost (up front), quality of photo/picture prints, and generally no colour (unless you are paying $$$).

I dunno, I bet the $1k Xerox solid ink jobber can smoke any same-priced inkjet for photos.
