  1. I'm still new here to the forums. I was looking through all the posts and throught I had figured out which media would do best for me. For a while I saw lots of good comments about the promedia. But now I see the promedia might not be a good buy. So, with my liteon 812, with your guys testing and burning and such, what should I buy? I'm gonna need to buy 50 or 100 in the next few days. I don't burn a lot of dvds yet, so I'm sorry for not being able to help you guys test. In the next few weeks though, I'll be able to contribute more to the cause. Thanks for any replies. Also, i was looking to buy at supermediastore.com, is that still one of the best places to buy?

Go with either Promedia or Ritek - whichever has a great deal going.

  5. I'm gonna be making disks for family, will I run into more compatibility issues with +R than -R at this stage of the game?

With the liteon burners its the other way around, they favour +r more than -r so its best to stick with good quality dvd+r plus use bitsetting(dvd-rom) on dvd+r to make them as compatible as dvd-r to play on dvd players.
