    I used Netscape from v1 until v4 in 2001.
Then IE grabbed me, as all sites started to look bad in NS and others.
Even today, NS7, Safari, Mozilla, Opera, Konquerer, etc ... not impressed.

But FIREFOX .... stop the presses!!

It's almost a clone of IE, but with the advantages of the others.

I still use IE for trusted sites I visit daily, but for browsing new sites, it's FIREFOX for me from now on. I even went so far as to visit family and switch them over (I help them backup, etc).

If you've not used it .... try it.

The beautiful part of FIREFOX is that it will import all of your IE settings, not just bookmarks/favorites, but cookies, etc. All of it. Awesome. Truly a painless conversion process.

    lordsmurf,

I just recently started using firefox also. I don't know if you were using programs such as Ad-Ware to scan your system. Well I was and while using IE Ad-Ware scans would turn up about 5-15 objects daily but since using firefox everytime I do a scan it turns up 0 objects.

I have found a few things that I dont like or just may take some getting use to, but overall I still prefer to use firefox rather than IE.

    Hello,

I use Internet Exporer at work.

At home I use the "custom" SBC Yahoo dial up browser. It's not bad and has a built in pop up blocker .

Glad to hear that, smurf. I have been using it for a while and have recently been trying to convert people over and away from the dark side. Click the sig.
