I was actually suprised becase these disc were CMC MAG. AF1 and it seem to burn okay on my Nec 1300A (was 1100A but flashed with Herries firmware for dvd-r support). I've only burned two disc but both of them were error free with dvdinfo pro (I do understand the dvdscan disc san and don't take that reading result literally). And it's playing fine with no skip or pixelation on three stand alone dvd player (Samsung M301, Aspire 1100, and Pioneer)
Happy hunting -
I really don't understand over paying for crap.
BigLots (formally Pick 'n Save) usually has old merchandise, calculators and watches with dieing batteries, stale gum and chips, and chipped dinner plates.
For .67c to .69c elsewhere you can buy quality Japanese Maxell and Taiyo Yuden DVD's that have a much better chance of lasting many years. There are many posts about people on these boards unable to read Taiwanese discs after just a number of months. Are you guys so uncaring you buy CMC or worse for just a few cents less?
In my mind I wouldn't take these discs for free, unless to make a disc for someone I hated as a joke.
What's up? -
Big Lots used to be MacFrugal's here. It's good place to buy stuff as a college student, or if you're impoverished. Housewares and maybe food.
Avoid their video tapes, discs, etc. Always crap, always damaged.
They do have some great knock-off toys.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)
