    Does this unit have any faults..it has a price of 598 is this a good buy at this price or is there another unit for the money better

    It's one of the best. IT does picture thumnails, 4x recording etc. howevere,the price is a little high though. It can be had for $486 at newegg.com which is an authorized reputable place:
