Hi,

I am running PowwerDVD 3.0 on Windows XP with an ATI RADEON Display Adapter. When I try to play back DVD moveis, the picture is displayed with serious pixalization, something that looks like the DVD movie is about half the true resolution. I am using a resolution of 1600x1200@85Hz@32bpp, so I don't see a problem with the resolution of the screen itself.
I read somewhere that the pixalization problems are related to the number of fps of the movie played vs. the refresh rate of the screen (e.g. for playing and NTSC movie you need a refresh rate that is a multiple of 30 like 60Hz or 90Hz)

Is it true? am I really confined to using refresh rates that are only multiples of the fps? maybe it's a problem of the decoder?

Thanks, Sudaker.
