  1. hey guys,,i have a 4 head vcr that i cap from,,the picture is surprisingly
    good and audio stays in sync since using iuvcr...i capped a video from 1984 with huffy at 720-480 and iuvcr,then used main concept for dvd mpeg,,,watching the dvd in standalone the movie has a slight bounce to it,enough to be very annoying,,i really dont have alot of movies to transfer so instead of hardware is there any software i can get to fix this prob,,,thanks

    I tried all the tricks before giving in and buying a TBC.

    You can try to minimize the dropped frames caused by the PC by shutting down unneeded apps and see if that helps. Also try different tracking settings on the VCR.

    If it's on the tape there's not much you can do though. Sorry, you probably didn't want to hear that

  3. thanks for reply,,i haven't had any dropped frames with iuvcr,,i have a p4 2.6 ht 800fsb,,512 ram,,2 hd's,,i shut off everything i can before capture using task manager i get down to like 14 processes runnin,,the end dvd was awesome other then the little bounciness,,i seen a plug in for abode for shakiness,,has anyone used this plug???i'm also using a cheap card kworld dvd maker 29$ at newegg.com i dont know if its ati or 8t8 or whatever,,,anyway thanks

    Those motion corrective filters have some serious side effects, and you cannot run a full video in one pass. You must edit it down to scenes. VERY VERY time consuming.

  5. if it plays well from tv to vcr with no bounce from original source,,shouldn't it cap fine,,thanks for relpy,i know you guys get tired of this subject
