I like this watch that Fossil came out with about 3 weeks ago but am not sure if I should get it. It's about $100 dollars. My old fossil watch I got in 1998 still works fine but is losing some of it's nice look due to wear.

What do you think? Go for it or no?

Stay with Casio or Timex. No reason to spend that kind of money for a watch, IMHO.

    AMEN

Heck, I don't even have a watch. If I'm not in a car heading anywhere, then there is no place I need to be at any certain time.

    That one?
No, I put the link to it on my first post.

If I can find it someplace else cheaper that would be great.

1998 is getting on a bit for watches - have you had to change the battery a couple of times ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

Expensive watches SUK. I bought a Michael Shumacher OMEGA watch costing $3200 and it can't keep time. I now have a $30 fake ROLEX which gains 1 second every six months. The Omega will soon go on E-bay.

  15. Gee, this $3 digital I bought at some dollar store a few months back keeps good time. So does my $9.99 Radio Shack digital but it has a broken band. And somewhere around here I have an old wind-up Mickey Mouse watch and that kept reasonably good time, also.

Because you can look at the time by the simple action of turning the back of your wrist to your face...

If you want a watch that is designed to be good looking, then get a Rolex, Omega, Tag Heuer, Longine, etc.

If you want some that looks okay AND functional, then get one of the Eco-Drive chronometers from Citizen.

If you just want something to tell the time, get a Casio.

    Regards.
