I hope some one can help me with my broken camcorder. I was changing tapes the other day and dropped it. I bent something in the tape houseing and it will not retract a tape in. Sony wants a minimum of $250 to look at it. where can I get parts for it and fix it myself? I would like to salvage this camcorder if at all possible.![]()
thanks in advance!!!!!!

I would suggest either selling it and buying a new one (maybe on eBay) because usually it's hard to get parts for those things. I'm kinda lucky because my cousin works for Sony and so he can get me pretty much any part I need from his connections. Have you tried looking up the part on Google? Maybe you'll have some luck there.
