My student recently brought this question to my attention and I couldnt get it...
"Only three words in standard English begin with the letters "dw." what are they!?"
Believe me, they are all common enough that you would know them, no tricks, just wondering if anyone could figure it out. Try it before going on google to figure it out.

What is "standard English" though...
Also:
- dwale
- dwaule
And of course, derivations of all of these, (e.g., dwelling, dwine, etc.)

"There are three words in the English language that end with "gry." One is hungry and the other is angry. What is the third word? Everyone uses this word every day, everyone knows what it means, and knows what it stands for. If you have listened very closely I have already told you the third word."
