    Hello All!

Is it possible to create a DVD where I can have both Photo-DVD and a Video DVD?

My idea is to create a menu, in which I have chapters, so that when I click them, I see a slideshow, and in other chapters I see videos.

If it's possivble, which programs should I use?

    THank you in advance!
    Best regards,
    Joelson.

  2. Use MemoriesOnTV to create a DVD video slide show from JPEG files, then add it as a chapter during DVD authoring ( ex. TMPGenc DVDauthor ). Now you got Photo and Video on a DVD.

Ulead's PictureShow2, Sonic's MyDVD, and MemoriesOnTV should all do both, that is a create the chapters for you for stills and video. MemoriesOnTv is probably the easiest, although it chops off text unless you're careful where you put it. The "Safe" TV zone isn't all that safe! PictureShow2 is probably a little more stable and doesn't have the Ken Burn's Effect, but it's a little awkward with adding text! MyDVD has the most tendency to lockup and crash, but it does have a simple and easy interface when it works.

I have done just what you described using ProShow Gold to make the slide show and Ulead Videostudio 8 to author the slide shows and video files. ProShow will let you output the slide show as an mpeg file of your choosing.
