  1. I use dvd decrypter to back ALL files..usually 8 gigs(12 mins)...then i use clonedvd version 2.0 to pick out what i want to keep(all extras w/ eng subs only 30 mins)...never have i ever had a problem with this combo and the backups look great...those are the sweetest progs i have yet to use..IMHO..thx for lettin me post..later

    why do ppl use dvd decrypter, why not just use clone dvd and anydvd?

  4. DVDdecryptor is FREE. Anydvd is not. Also riping to hard drive first is a good option to save te life of the drive.

    Well clone dvd wont rip a encrypted dvd for a start.... Never used anydvd as like the other poster i'm happy with my present set up and methods..

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but AnyDVD removes the encryption, doesn't it ?
