Just recently purchased DVD Wizard Pro and attempting to back up my DVD film collection I am encountering the same problem each time.

Using the Smart Ripper programme I followed each section in the help files to the letter, when I checked the integrity using Power DVD I can either play the sound with no picture or the picture with no sound, I am unable to play both at the same time. Both are excellent quality though.

Upon pressing the next icon button on the player the soundtrack goes off and the picture plays without the sound. I have tried with other dvd films but the same thing occurs.

I went ahead and burned one film to disc but there was no soundtrack when played back.

    Can anyone advise me please.

    (newbie) Tony.

    Hello,
What are you converting to? Divx for cdr or backup to dvdr (vobs)? If its for divx there are plenty of free tools here:

Those are probably better. Also, try dvdshrink and a dvd capable burning suite like nero for backing up to dvd-r.

P.S. Also, you may have accidently seperated the files. Are they named .m2v +.mpa? Or is it .avi and .wav? If you split the sound when encoding you have to MERGE them together. Tools like tmpgenc and virtualdub can do this.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
