i/o error in dvd shrink

Been trying to back up a film with dvd shrink,have tried 3 times now and keep getting this error.I have tried opening in power dvd and using dvd shrink,checked for damage to disc and still no luck.I then tried ripping the dvd with dvd decrypter to hard disk folder,this worked fine,but when i tried to open the folder with dvd shrink was getting a message "not recognized"just cant get dvd shrink to work with this film.Any ideas anyone??

Rip DVD to ISO image with DVDDecrypter > Iso mode.
Mount image with Daemon Tools.
Open mounted image with DVDShrink.

Open mounted image with DVDShrink.

You can open ISOs directly in DVDShrink 3.2 - No need to mount it

Will the disk play in our player? Can you use Power DVD to watch the files that you ripped?
