Hi
I recently burned a couple DVDRs and am having a heck of a time getting them to play on one of my DVD players. I burned a DVDR using WinAVI and bured them with Nero. The video files (there were 6 epsisodes) were Divx, 16:9, and 25fps. I converted them at 25fps, PAL format, and 4:3(letterboxed them). I used Fugifilm media(8x). I had WinAVI encode the files to fit all 6 episodes onto 1 disc. Now my minteck dvd player and my dvd drive play the disc fine. But my Pioneer plays the disc in black and white and the sides are cut of the video. I tried adjusting the aspect ratio on the DVD player, but no help really. Some possible ideas i have with what the problem might be are:
*This player doesen't support PAL very well
*By trying to fit all 6 episodes on one disc the dvd player cannot play the bitrate of the video
*The media i'm using (Fugi or 8X) is not supported
Any thoughts?
Cheers
