A proud graduate of #7, UT at Austin, drinkings habits then, well suffice it to say have calmed down dramatically. There was a bar, Maggie Mays, on Wednesday would sell .75 well drinks, Thursday was .75 pitchers at some hick bar. Friday and Saturday well I had to pay full price.

Madtown in #3 is kinda surprising, they usually sit higher than that. However they only meet the one requirement of being a drinking school, kids actually still go to classes. I went to the second biggest drinking school in the midwest. Anyone care to venture a guess as to which one that is?

It's interesting that they are all state run schools, but why should things change. I'm sure they all did so well learning during grades 1 through 12.

I've dated girls from the Albany school. They really didn't party much. They just drank 10 hours of the day, had sex for 4 hours, slept for 4 hours, had 4 hours of classes and 2 hours of studying.

I didn't see any Chicago colleges on the list, so mine's not included
I didn't room in a dorm because I was a local, so there might have been more beer diving and vodka jello shooters if I had lived on campus.

That report sucked. Drug use and alcohol use do not equate to party schools. Hot women and paradise-like college towns are the final ingredients.

Forget UT (Texas). Go 30 miles south to the 3rd largest university in Texas, TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY (www.txstate.edu). That is known in Texas as the "party school" of the state. UT is 1st, A&M is 2nd. Neither are really "party" schools, just big.

FLORIDA STATE is another good one.

ARIZONE STATE is a mild party school. Another one full of drunken southerners.

Most of your "party" schools are in the south.

** Disclaimer: Party schools are still great places for degrees.

No, University of North Dakota - Grand Forks (UND). There really wasn't much else to do except drink and go to hockey games (or drink at hockey games). The surprising part (or maybe not so much) is that its biggest program there is commercial aviation. I'm not very shocked to see airline pilots in the news over drinking after being up there.

Best school on that list (the stone-cold sober part):

    Brigham Young University

I suppose if North Dakota were to secede from the US it would become the 3rd most powerful nation when it comes to the nuclear arms race.

For a place that's supposed to be stone sober, they do party A LOT. There are like a hundred dances every weekend. And people are always gathering in groups for some big get-together every other day. In the back of my mine I think of amish square dances when I hear of people there dancing. Odd thing is they all have Dutch wooden shoes. I don't know how amish and Holland enter my head when i think of mormons, but that's the picture I have.
