    yeah its a simple and stupid question but...what does dvd-rx mean?

    Hello,
    Not sure but could it be a typo and the x is supposed to be an abbreviation for speed? As in dvd-r x (the speed goes from 1x-16x for recordable dvd - single layer that is).

    Another possibility- Could it be like xvcd? An off-spec dvd that squeezes more data on to the disc???
