    I had asked if the Sima SCC-2 was ok no replys..so maybe someone can tell me what to use

    The best type of device for this is a full frame TBC (time base corrector) like the Datavideo TBC-1000 or AVTools AVT-8710. These strip all types of copy protection. The SCC-2 may work fine for MV, though.
