I had a rather stressful day today. I guess I was due for one since most of my days are pretty peaceful..someone must have been saving one up for me.

I went over this morning, around 6 am, to help my friend put a clutch in his truck. So I had my tool boxes and my 5 ton floor jack in the back of my truck. I swung back by my house picked up my daughter to take her to work at the Fair. Take her to the fair, they try to charge me for her to get in...that didn't happen. She was walking in front of me and some boys about 17 years old or so (she's 14) ran into her because they were not watching where they were going, she said "excuse me" and just kept going. The one kid turns and yells "why don't you watch where you are going you ******* bitch." I was maybe 10 ft from him when he said it and as he was turning around I shot a forearm in his throat (I actually meant to just hit him in the chest but it came up higher and caught his throat), he hit the ground I jumped on top of him, twisted his arm behind his back and put my other arm around his throat (cop style), yelled to my daughter, she came back I told him to apologize. He replied "**** you", so I explained his options to him (do it or I'll break it)...and I was going to break his arm if he didn't apologize....but he did and I let him go.

Daughter gets to the booth where she is to work. I go out to my truck to leave and I have a Doramius situation parked beside me. I can't even open my door far enough to get in. So already a little hot headed, I get the floor jack out of the back and I take off all of this guy's tires and drop his truck with rotors sitting on the ground. Left a note saying "learn how to park dickhead." I was nice enough to put all 4 wheels in the bed of his truck for him.

I get home and call AT&T about a bill they sent me. $15.32....only problem is I have sprint. So I call them. Lots of cussing, lots of "I'm not paying it." etc, etc. Finally a manager calls me "Mr. Northcat, I understand you are disputing your bill." and I say "no, I'm not disputing it. I'm not paying it. I didn't make it, I'm not paying it and if you guys can't get that straight then I'll see you mother fuckers in court." He started saying something else but I just kept repeating "**** you, **** you, **** you" until he hung up. (wonder if that one will be used for training purposes?)So that didn't go to well, but this evening there was a message on my answering machine saying the bill was a computer error.

Daughter calls. The kid's dad had been to the fair to see my daughter and was looking for me. So back to the fair I went, guy was gone, but daughter had his name. Go to a phone book, find this guy's address.

Go to his house. That meeting went less than positive considering the first words out of his mouth were "are you the mother ****** who gets off on beating up on kids." TO which I replied "well now I'm here for you jackass." We squared up and were fixing to go at it, but his wife came out and put some rationality and maturity into the situation. After I explained what happened they called their son out to the porch, he was more than shocked to see me standing there, but he told them he lied and then told them what really happened...which was virtually word for word what I said happened. His parents apologized to me and made the kid apologize to me.

It's been a high stress day at the Northcat household, I'm just ******* sick of ignorance. There was nothing wrong with that kid just saying "excuse me" and just walking on by. But he had to be cool in front of his friend. (who was a **** because he stood by and watched me man handle his friend). Then dick smack parking so close that our mirrors were no more than 3 inches apart....it's a 5 acre parking lot for god's sake, it's not like I parked right next to the entrance.

I think mother fuckers better recall that the uni-bomber was a math teacher and not push some of us who may be teetering on the edge (Just kidding, I'm not going to bomb people, I'm too personable for that)

I'm calmed down now, my niece had a birthday party this evening, she's 3, and that chilled me out quite a bit.

I'm back in my happy place now. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day.

  2. If I had a daughter and some punk-ass kid called her a ******* bitch, you'd have to use the Jaws of Life to pry my hands from his skull. I'd rip his head off his neck and let my psychotic dog skullfuck him through the weekend.

Wives are a good thing to have around. My own has bailed my ass out of countless situations where I was looking at a weekend stay at the county jail.

I'm glad your day got better, northcat.

Try cutting back on the caffeine there northcat! I honestly can't say I would have handled any of those situations differently, but to get them all on the same day

Glad you;re in a better mood now. Little kids will tend to do that to you. The day's over now. Rejoice! Tomorrow's a whole new one!

I didn't have any caffine today and my friend's girlfriend wouldn't give us any beer at 6 am because she knows how we get when we get to drinking and working on trucks. (she held it at sink point )

The guy who tried to make us pay at the gate started the whole thing. Our school's kids are always working the fair for the boosters, we have for the past 30 years. Every year, kids wear a school shirt with football, basketball, cheerleading, etc. on it and they get in free to work. But this guy was an ******* about it and was being very rude and eventually I just said "watch this, I'm not paying and just walked on in." and it wasn't 30 seconds after I walked in the gate and that kid said that and it just caught me wrong and I reacted, right, wrong or indifferent, I just reacted.

On a different day, I probably handle that situation 100% different, but it didn't happen that way today.

Well shit, if I only showed that kind of restraint...

As for the car: I don't "park like a dickhead" but I'm still a firm believer in the "don't **** with a man's car" commandment. Don't you have a hi-jack handy you could just lift her up and knock her over? Now that's classy 8)

The worse name calling to me I’ve heard is ‘fuckwit’.

It is an Australian word meaning an idiot or a fool.

This is to show some people aren’t nice at all and can be very nasty in 'name calling' your daughter as ‘fucking bitch’.

The worse name calling I’ve heard is; “You’re fuckwit and wish your dead” by a friend in a rage to me.

I understand that he was tired and he came under enormous pressure.

He apologized to me later after discussion with his other friend who was shocked of his behavior.

I am sure hope Mr Northcat will have a better day tomorrow.

  7. Sounds like I could do with Northcat and Indo on customer services with me. I haven't lost my cool yet, but I would love to see both your reactions to the cheek and ignorance shown by some people.

I wonder if I could take my MD player in my shirt pocket and record a shift. That's probably illegal in some way, though...

Northcat wasn't telling the entire story. When he went to then parents house, he did get into it with the father. The mother didn't talk him down, she called the cops, who proptly took northcat for a ride. That's why we haven't seen him yet today. Instead of using his one phone call to arrange bail, he used it (and his portable modem) to upload these photos.

If we look a little closer, there's our northcat in the back seat.

  11. to you Northcat_8

Can't stand guys who disrespect girls. On Sunday I'd had a shit day at work and had a party that night to go to for a friend. Alot of the girls I hang out with are a year or two younger (16-18ish) than I am so we were at this party drinking and this 22 y/o guy who we kind of know kept trying to pick up my 16 y/o friend despite her saying no multiple times.

In the end she just wanted to leave so I volunteered to drop her home and as we were leaving this guy calls her a "******* dick tease" and is standing on the middle of the road. I just floor it and head straight towards him. Never seen a person move so fast. The drunken idiot tripped over the gutter trying to move out of the way and fell into the bushes.

Yes it is. Nice job otherwise tekkie. I didn't mean to poke fun of your photochop. I'm no expert myself. It just struck me as funny seeing northie's head 3 feet tall

If I shrunk the head any more, you wouldn't be able to tell who it was. As it was, I did the second chop with the magnifying glass feature just to give you a better view. The real fun was in getting him behind the window of the cop car. I did a freehand selection of the window, cut it out and moved it aside. Then added northie in place of the window with a black background, moved the window cutout back in place with a 50% transparancy. That gives the illusion that he is really in the car, and you see hime through the window. Thanks to northie, I'm learning all kinds of new things with this software!

Oh yeah, and it also took a while to find a cop car from an actual Ohio police department. (authenticity counts )

My biggest problem is when something irritates me, I just keep rolling it over and over in my mind and I hold grudges. The more I think about it the more and more mad I get over it until finally I will do something or say something about it. My friends are no help because they just encourage me, tease me about it, "I wouldn't take that from him" type of things and I just get so bent out of shape about it that I will go settle it, if for no other reason than a piece of mind.

What do I do to get back to my happy place, I don't do anything intentionally. But humor usually does it for me. Like when I read your post about "what is barley soda"...I just found that funny and it made me laugh and I was able to chill out after that. Something like that usually calms me down. If I'm alone and left to my own mental processes or with my friends, I will boil over and be introuble shortly. My dad is very good at settling me down too. Usually, my wife or my dad can get me settled down. But if I get something dead set in my mind only my dad can detour me. My wife just gets mad and cries when I am set on something. But then again she cried when I broke some guy's fingers until he apologized to her.

I am getting much better and I have stayed out of trouble for the past 8 years. But before I had the whole "teaching career" hanging over my head I wasn't as patient and I flew off the handle e-*******-mediately over just about anything. I personally think taking that guy's tires off of his truck was nice of me...the old me would have broken all the windows and headlights and then called a tow truck and had it towed. I do not think you should mess with a man's vehicle either, but he shouldn't have been a dickhead with his vehicle and there wouldn't have been a problem.

Oh and **** you tekkie :P

I've only been in a police car twice in my lifetime. Once because a bouncer though he could bounce me...and he was wrong. And once because some guy was acting like a jackass, threw a beer bottle and hit my truck and I just happened to catch him in the middle of the street. But both of those instances were years ago.

I think you better re-read my ******* member status

And in other news this evening, residents of Ohio are being asked to have their shovels on standby. The word is, it's getting REAL deep out there.

And now for the local sports news: schoolgirl's dad kicks ultra-cool skateboarder's ass...

I'm the same way about letting things boil up inside and having to take care of it right then and there... My kids, unfortunetaly, get the brunt of my 'pissoffedness' sometimes... they are only 5,3 and 1 so they don't understand and just get scared... I hate when I freak out at them

I'm glad I made you smile regarding my stupidity (barley soda)... i'm thinking ... hmmm, some euro beverage maybe

I am usually pretty good at keeping the anger directed and I will just tell my kids...this would be a good time to leave me alone. and they usually do.

My kids use to think I got mad at them and they were in little kid fear of their father, type of thing. Until one weekend I was playing softball and some guy had a little too much to drink and spilled some beer on my wife by accident. My wife upset but patient said "hey now, becareful there." and this guy said "**** you bitch" and threw the rest of his beer on her. Northcat did not handle that very well and that dude lost most of his teeth over the deal and I was beating him with a full beer can when some people pulled me off of him. His face was all cut up, my shirt and shorts were dripping with blood, it was nasty. Drunk people can't fight for shit.

BUT...now my kids know the difference between when dad is angry and when dad is pissed off. Again this was a long time ago...I don't do things like that anymore, I am reformed and a ******* angel (INDOLIKAA ) I have the anger management counseling certificate to ******* prove it

Not to go get all serious on you, but one day, my daughter was playing with the blinds after three "don't do that" scoldings, so I jumped off the couch, and she cowered! I don't even spank her! I want her to do as I tell her, and respect me, NOT FEAR ME!

Now, no matter how bad my day, I will never let my bad mood be directed to my child.

I've been in an ambulance and broke their record for vomiting the farthest. While locked in and my head at the top of the gurney, I hit the rear window. They had to call in an extra hour to clean before they could go out again. That was during my younger brother's wedding. I missed the whole ceremony and one of my older brothers had to stand in as Best man. Because of the situation, the tux rental place didn't charge me anything for the specialty cleaning.

As for a Police Car, I've never been in one where I was taken into custody. I've been in one because of a traffic infraction, keep warm while waiting for someone to pick me up after an accident, a ride to the morg to identify a body, and a friend of mine was a Sheriff and drove me home while he was off duty.

Oh yeah, right! I tried that with my wife. Once.

After the doctors removed the 5" heels from my ass, and reassured me my chances of walking normal again were better than average, I reconsidered future anger-management techniques.

YOU KNOW what I mean. I don't beat my kids either...except once a week like I'm suppose to ....it's not a fear like an adult would experience fear looking down the wrong end of a 45. It is an intrinsic reflex built into the psyche of a child when the brain has not fully developed and cannot understand or comprehend the meaning associated with accentation or "stressed" wording used to curb behavior. The child's brain does not differentiate between fear for physical safety and other types of fear.

Let me ask you this...did your mother or father have to say something to you to let you know to settle down or to behave? or did they just have to look at you a certain way? And when they looked at you, were in you in fear for your physical safety? No. You modified your behavior in an effort to please your parents...IE, for fear of upsetting or angering your parents. All behavior modification is based in fear of some sort and to some degree. A child's mind is not capable of grasping the complex mental process of respect. (I think the brain is capable of this process around age 10-12...I think, I would have to research it, but I have the book.)

I obviously put most of this in my own words but Tekkie, maybe you had better do some reading on childhood development and the adolesent brain.

Not to go into details, but my mother was both a spousal and child abuser. Hence, I do not discipline my child with spankings. I do have some training in psychology, although not child psychology. Thanks for the advice. Nice to see you got your $1024 worth! :P
