    Anybody here able to tell me, who is Chris Waddle? I've been watching british comedy-serie called "Fast show" and they always mention Chris Waddle. Sometimes, this "Chris Waddle" is selling things, or singing or whatever, sometimes his name is used as foreign language word ("het the the the Chris Waddle").

    Fast show is really fun

    He appears as a word thrown in on Channel Nine - the wacky South American show. Paul Whitehouse did Channel Nine as a skit on Welsh TV shows which are gibberish with random English words thrown in ! I don't think there's a reason why Chris Waddle was chosen.

    Fast Show is fun though

    EDIT - Chris Waddle was a footballer.

    Chris Waddle played for Sheff Wed in the 1980's.
    Chris Waddle had a mullet.
    Chris Waddle missed a crucial penalty for England in the 1990 world cup semi-final.
    Chris Waddle is a twat.

    Slightly harsh Will, especially as pretty much every english team has a guy who misses crucial penalties
