Hello.
I am about to buy my first video capture card. I have two cards in mind (after reading some articles, and reviews I managed to narrow the list of available TV-cards down to two (the computer stores near us do not have that many different cards to choose from)) and would like your advice on which one of the two I should buy. But first let me tell you what it is I want to do, for I imagine that some cards are better suited to some tasks than other cards are: I am very interested in opera, and have managed to get my hands on quite a few VHS tapes with old video recordings of opera singers in opera and concert. I would like to transfer these VHS tapes (some which are recorded in PAL, and some others in NTSC) to DVD, and add chapters as well as, on some occasions, subtitles.
The TV-cards are:
1. Pinnacle PCTV Stereo (http://www.pinnaclesys.com/ProductPage_n.asp?Product_ID=1480&Langue_ID=2)
2. Hauppauge WinTV-PCI/FM (http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/pages/products/data_401.html)
If there is another TV-card that you would really recommend, then please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

The Pinnacle PCTV Stereo sucks. On some channels there is more grain than tv.
Go for the Hauppauge, heard some good thinks about it.
