I have a series one Tivo with TivoWeb on it, and for some reason the only time I can get a bash prompt is after restarting the Tivo. It seems like the bash prompt "times out" after awhile, and while I can still ping and even looks like I can connect with Telnet, after connecting on Telnet the screen is just blank on the telnet client-no bash prompt ever appears. The only way to fix this is to restart the tivo. The only hack I have is TivoWeb, so I'm not sure what the problem is...any ideas?
