  1. Hi,
I am wondering if any one used the above program to burn a DVD or CDV. I downloaded the demo version, and I followed all the steps very carefully, but the end outcome did not play on my Sony DVD player and it did not play on my PC DVD player. In the past I used Nero and WinOnCD and they worked fine.
Any ideas why this one is not working?
    Thanks.

  2. I assume you are trying to create a VCD. Did you get any error messages? Is your CD burner in the list of compatable burners at the Ulead web site? Did you make usre you selected NTCS or PAL, which ever flavor you use, during install?

  4. Thanks for such a fast response. I did not get any error messages. I don't think Ulead web site has a list of all the DVD players, I checked and I did not see such a list. I selected NYCS.
One thing, on "Determine Output OptionsSettings: page, and on the first field for Output for working folder I don't know whether I should put my C drive or E the CD burn drive. If I put C no error, but if I put E then I get this error message "error in writing to a file".
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Tanks.

  5. The output working folder has to be a folder on one of your hard drives. C is okay. It is a folder used by the program to write and read temporary files. The CDR Burner compatibility list can be found at:

    ulead.com/dmf/compatibility2.htm#cdburners

There is an extensive list of DVD players and compatability under the tab at the left of the screen when it is up. In the meantime burn a cdr/w and see if it will play on your Sony.

  6. It seems that for some reason I do not see that page. Any time I go there it is to the Ulead home page. I do not see it anywhere.
    Thanks.
