I recently started to capture using thr Haup 250. I am capturing from my cable tv feed. The captures look somewhat grainy when I played them on my computer. When I used TMP to edit commercials and burn to DVD the picture quality suffered more. I was capturing at mpeg 2 at maz resolution using beyondtv3. Appreciate any tips or advice, or is this the best it gets?

buy a canopus advc-100 device and you'll never look back. you won't have grainy captures, dropped frames or audio sync issues. the advc-100 is a digital converter, converts analog to digital. i have mine connected to my digital cable box or when doing video editing it's connected thru my vcr.
