  1. - For some reason, VDUB gets tired, after a long time of capturing.
    - AVI_IO, hangs after the first capture.

I'm just looking for an application with a very stupid interface, like the AVI_IO.

If you know any other, let me know.

Please, forget about AvCAP or the WDM capturing utility from microsoft.

  3. i'm not looking a software, for the ease of use.

I'm looking for inedit programs, "NOT POPULAR" capturing programs.

and..... to be honest, i hate those two.

    Thanks anyway

  4. What OS are you running under?

As explained on this page, there is a bug that causes a very long lockup after capture when audio is captured with an ACM codec on Windows 98SE and Windows ME, with a fix.

  8. OK, i'm looking for a capturing program with simple and basic settings, like AVI_IO.

I don't care, if it's not the most popular capturing program ever made.

I mean... it doesn't matter, if it's an inedit software made by your mother.

You got my point, or not ?

And I am giving you a potential reason for your AVI_IO hangs. I can only assume that you would like to continue using AVI_IO if it doesn't hang.

All of your posts have in this thread have been rather abusive to those trying to answer your rather fractured inquiry. Not the best way to get help.

Are you out of your bloody mind, or something?

No. Perhaps if you used complete sentences with proper grammar, and made a direct post without all the attitude, we could understand what you're looking for. As it stands, you come off as somebody that barely has a grasp of the English language, and with a vulgar attitude to boot.

AVI_IO is a DV transfer utility, for the most part.

We don't even know your hardware, or what you're trying to do.

This obviously isn't very important to you.

Get Ulead's DVD Workshop or Media Studio Pro for the capture component. Select your input, select a preset and push the record button. Just ignore the advaced button. It has a Win98 style interface to make it appear simple. Both retail for about $499

BTW the directions above for Uleads software applys to every capture utility I have used. Try intari's advice, popular programs are popular because they work.

I'd recommend FlyCapDS. It does like a clean system though. Probably won't work if you've installed a full codec pack such as Nimo (not recommended anyway). You'll may have to uninstall that to get it to work.
