Re-"backing-up" and printing 150 DVDs sounds like a hell of a lot of work. You may be biting off more than you can chew. Instead, why don't you backup up even more DVDs and these new ones you can label all printer-pretty.

Anyway if you still want to go through with it, why don't you just give 'em away or sell 'em on eBay!? (joke)

I have a load of old CD-Rs that I don't need anymore. Some are coasters, some are test-discs from my VCD days, and some have stuff I don't need anymore. I put these discs on a 100 pack spindle and place them somewhere. I use to keep them on the windowsill but then I learned that direct sunlight is bad for writable media and I don't want my coasters getting ruined so I put them in the corner.

  4. Well I get all my old DVDr's and CDr's and stick em in a box.

Come christmas time I get a big sheet of plyboard, make a chrissy tree shape on it and cut it out. I then stick all those old DVDr's and CDR's shiny side out on the tree. I then buy a couple of sets of elcheapo christmas tree lights, and drill a hole through the plyboard and insert a little bulb so it sticks out the centre of the glued on DVD / CD.

This makes an extremely effective christmas tree (particulary at night)

  6. Burning again 150 DVD's just to print the disc surface seems to me a huge task and a small benefit.

Put them in a box and keep them, give tem away, throw them to the garbage can, etc.
Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach that person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks

Have you noticed that a slight tax increase costs you two hundred dollars and a substantial tax cut saves you thirty cents?
