I have a JVC Recorder DR-MH30S and I cannot figure out neither thru the manual nor JVC Tech Support how I am supposed to use the ITR Recording facility. According to the manual your supposed to press the record button twice for 30-mins and again for another 30-mins etc.. However JVC say press it from the Recorder and again it doesn't work. It will only record continually either way. Does anyone else have the answer to this problem. By the way JVC UK are very unhelpful and rude they hung up on me as they didn't have the answer. Do you?

I know on my JVC DR-M10S DVD recorder, I can't use ITR when I am dupping via FW. However, it does work when I am recording via the coax tuner input. Go figure.

  3. On the DR-M10 you do it like they said, press the record button on the machine. It can't be done with the remote. That is from input 1, I never use the tuner.

I did it earlier on today samijubal and now I know why it didn't work it was because without realising even though I was pressing the red button on the unit I had it on the wrong channel.
