  1. Please help!

I burned a master of an outdoor production on a DVD-R & sent it off to be replicated (1000 copies) on to a DVD5 glass masters. I have had only two play back problems out of about 25 different DVD players. One on my own RCA player that has some audio static problem during narration. The second problem was on a Bowes system & Toshiba player. The retailer viewing the DVD stated the video would play for 30 secs then stop then play & it continued this cycle the whole length of the video.

Is this an AUTHORING problem from the original master?

Please, give me some suggestions as I am confused right now...

    Here is my system:

    Pioneer 4x DVD-R/RW writer AO5-U

Roxio Media Creator 7 is the Authoring software.

Pioneer DVD-R 4.7 GB is the orignil master.

    Thanks,

  2. Did you try more than one copy on those two players? If some copies worked and some did not, then it's a replication problem.

Otherwise, it could be an authoring problem, a defective player (which may not show on all titles), player nor following the DVD specs in full...

Remember, there's compatibility problem with DVD-ROM as well, not just DVD+/-R(W). Read this:

Did you try your original in those two players?

  3. I just sent the retailer another copy to view. I am not sure what is going on here... These retail ready DVD's have been played on atleast 50 DVD players now with only one minor audio problem on my stupid RCA DVD player.
I am not sure if it was just a scratched DVD or if it was touched during replication. Who knows, this guy is a corparate guy; maybe he is trying to make me come down on my prices.

Idid notice Toshiba was mentioned on alot of the listing on the page you linked too. Thanks for the information.
