    Hello All;
    I have many mpegs from passed projects that I would like to archive onto a DVD as Zipped files so as to clear up the Hard Drive used to store these files. I use WinZip to archive. Now I would like to know if there is a free software that can move these files to a DVD Disk not CD-Rom.
    I can put more on a DVD Disk Than an ordinary CD Rom Disk.

    Thanks in advance

    burnatonce is an excellent free tool that will burn Data DVDs. I've only (personally) burned one Data DVD with it (made a backup of all of my downloaded files before doing a clean install of WinXP), and it works perfectly.

    Zipping jpg's doesn't save much space, your better off just copying them as is. Have you tried just using the copy/paste command. Should work in XP.

    IF you have a DVD writer any dvd software that came with the writer will allow you to do this you just select data disk or UDF or some variation thereof depending on the program you have

    Easy DVD/CD creator, nero, and many other programs will do this just fine

  5. Do this all the time... I have roxio and although their dvd production components are a tad limiting you gotta love their 'drag to disk' function where you can drag files via explorer to the disk.
