Hi,

I've long been trying to find the equivalent of the discman but which plays DVDs with mp3's on it. Both these plays also enable you to watch movies, but I'm mainly interested just to listen to DVD's with my mp3 collection on them.

Recently, I came up with two candidates:
One is the Sony Sony MPDAP20U

and the other:
Innovatek DS-701
(buy: http://www.mp3playerstore.com/stuff_you_need/dvd/DS701.htm)

The innovatek seems to be the more suitable of the two. I've contacted the store, and they claim it plays DVD-mp3s (which makes it worthy competitor to any mp3 player such as the ipod mini) and it has the mp3 tag information displayed. The price is a little bit high, but it looks promising.

Now to my questions:

Does anyone have any experience with either of the players? Any other players that meets the requirements of being a discman-like dvd-mp3 player?
